Things are finally beginning to click, I must have painted the
face 8 times over! I’ve made it harder for myself during the last
few weeks but that's always something I manage to do, I look
beyond depth when I should study the surface and keep things
simple.
There’s little information that I’ve found beneficial that reveals
painting methods, its an artists bread and butter after-all and
I’m certainly not prepared to pay for tips, either you have the
natural ability or you don’t and if that means brushing the
same area over and over to prove it, then so be it.
So far I have filled in the features ready for further highlights
and tints that can be added later. The hair will need lots of
work too.
